Sapphire Lutheran Homes is committed to the general well-being of its campus and to the general public effort to mitigate transmission of coronavirus. Sapphire Lutheran Homes has implemented an array of health care precautions, practices, and policies in response to the challenge. News and media sources have been vigilant to broadcast information, guidance, and edicts to the general public from federal, state, and local health care officials. Sapphire Lutheran Homes and similar human services organizations have also received additional guidance and direction from these same sources. We earnestly join effort with these and all public officials to minimize spread of the virus.
We have striven to go above and beyond some of the official health care guidelines, including early implementation of a NO VISITATION policy. Currently, no visitors are allowed within Sapphire Lutheran Homes campus. Exception may be given for end of life circumstances. Even then, however, end of life visitations will have restrictions.
We request and appreciate your adherence to our COVID-19 NO VISITATION policy. This adherence is essential to preserving the well-being of our elders and others who could be most severely impacted by the virus. We are thankful to all who are providing calm and deliberate responses to the challenges before our community, and humbly encourage people to love and serve their neighbors as themselves.
Update: As of March 20th, 2020, at (time) all volunteers and non-essential healthcare personnel (HCP), including care givers will no longer be allowed in our buildings.
Due to the increasing number of Coronavirus cases, we are cancelling our Summer Concert Series 2020.
